Paynes Find Roadhouse & Tavern

Food was great atmosphere fantastic, locals very friendly and provided great ideas for places to see further along the way. Will definitely be back.

Awesome Roadhouse in the middle of nowhere. Stayed for 6 nights while prospecting the area. This Roadhouse has the nicest friendliest staff, the best air-conditioned bar you could sit in, the coldest beer, the best Roadhouse food at reasonable prices. Ample area out the back to camp and the amenities are clean.For a refueling stop or an overnighter this place is fabulous.

Great little spot to stop between Wubin and Mount Magnet.Reasonably priced and some great lil gifts for someone if you've forgotten.Good showers and accommodation with ample parking for any size truck or caravan.I think they are 24 hours

Quick stop for a bite to eat. Nice clean welcoming space, very tasty toasties! nice friendly staff-a pleasant break on the way.

What can you say? Payne's Find is isolated. This is the last place you expect to find this food. Yet here it is. Marvellous food from a basic menu. A must-stop rest on the way through this area.

Stopped here on long road trip between Perth and Jigalong. Staff were friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for us. We were really hungry and needed coffee. Coffee machine wasn't working but the beautifully decorated (Christmas) dining room had a hot urn and plenty of free tea.Even outside was decorated in such a lovely way

Absolutely brilliant place to grab a feed and a beer. The Burgers are the best, especially the Hamburger with the works. Accommodation is tops and great for a break with rhe bar nearby. The service and people here are second to none. Would give it ten stars.

When you embark on a 12,000km trip, sooner or later you'll run into some arrogant, self-important people running a roadhouse.There are a few of these in the outback - a lack of interest for customer satisfaction is just a natural consequence of a monopoly situation / captive audience. At Balladonia, for example, They'll give you a big smile while they screw you over mercilessly. And at Nanutarra they're well-stocked and really friendly about charging you a ridiculous price for a coffee.I saw a lot of roadhouses of varying quality and with varying levels of customer service in my trip. I didn't bother reviewing any of the others, not worth my time.But Payne's find roadhouse are the only ones who were audacious enough to insult me before I even got into the building and then specifically ask me for a google review.So here I am giving them a one-star review because they asked for it.

Stopped at Paynes Find Roadhouse for a break and some lunch. Best cappuccino, hot chocolate and toasted cheese sandwich we have had for a while. Staff were friendly and helpful.
